West Midlands Police arrested four people on suspicion of murder on Sunday (June 13) following a fatal fight in Longbridge – the victim is officially known as Jason D’Aguilar.
Mr D’Aguilar was found seriously injured after being followed and attacked around 9:50 pm on Central Avenue, Longbridge.The 33-year-old was hospitalized but unfortunately died yesterday morning.
The police responded to leads and arrested four men, aged 21, 26, 26 and 28, on suspicion of murder. You are currently in custody for questioning.
Homicide Detective Inspector Wes Martin said, “We have made some rapid progress as we try to investigate the circumstances that led to Jason’s death.
“We believe there are still people with information or cell phone or dashcam footage who can support our inquiries but have not yet spoken to officials.
“I would urge you to do the right thing and tell us what you know so that we can get answers for Jason’s grieving family.”
An autopsy to determine the exact cause of death should take place in due course.
