A man was taken to hospital after falling from a bridge on the M6, police have confirmed.
The lane at Exit 7 to Great Barr was closed in both directions at 12 noon on Saturday, July 17, as rescue workers rushed to the crime scene.
The north and south directions as well as the M5 connection were opened again about an hour later.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “A man fell off a bridge on the M6 at Junction 7. He was taken to the hospital to have his injuries assessed.
“The autobahn is now open again.”
