Butcher’s Block is holding a third anniversary charity day on Bromsgrove High Street

CHARITY Day will be held next Saturday at Butcher’s Block, celebrating its third birthday on Bromsgrove High Street.

The money raised will go to two local charities – SOBS (Survivors of Bereavement of Suizid) and the North Worcestershire Basement Project, which helps young people who are homeless or become homeless.

Lil’s Baps will be trading their famous hot food for donations on the high street during the day and there will be a raffle with prizes such as £ 50 to spend in the store, a bottle of artisanal Piston Gin and a £ 20 coupon to the Hairs and Graces Salon.

East Midlands singer Lizzy Rushby will entertain the crowd with vintage classics at her first public event of the year.

Lilith added, “Lizzy is a popular and popular artist and the team is very excited to have her perform on the day.”

The all-female butcher is run by Lilith and Michelle Holsey-Sheppard.

Lilith said: “Last year exceeded all expectations, so we hope that this year we can raise the bar again.”

Michelle added, “Both are fantastic local charities and we really hope to make them proud.”
