We are embarking on an exciting missional journey, networking the Hartshill, Penkhull and Trent Vale Benefit with the neighboring parish of Trentham.
Under the team leadership of the vicar of Trentham we seek to appoint a mission-focused associate vicar to lead in growth and discipleship, working alongside another full-time Associate Vicar, a community development worker, and potentially a self-supporting minister.
There are clear signs of growth in the benefit which we hope to fan into flame through the development of the links with St Mary’s Trentham, a thriving charismatic-evangelical church, and the establishment of a strong, well-resourced, ministry team.
This post is being offered with 5 year Strategic Mission Funding as a post of first responsibility, and so is open to clergy who are completing their curacy. Our hope is that, as the congregations grow, the post will become financially sustainable for the future.

All applicants should normally have 3 years’ experience in the Church of England or another Anglican church in the British Isles.
