Emergency services released a photo of a road accident in Smithswood on Sunday night to remind all motorists to use caution when driving.
Both cars – a blue Renault and a black Volkswagen – were badly damaged as a result of the accident, but all occupants of the vehicles were very fortunate to have been spared serious injuries on the occasion.
Smithswood, Kingshurst and Castle Bromwich Police were at the scene along with the West Midlands Ambulance Service and the West Midlands Fire Service.
The photo was posted to the official Smithswood, Kingshurst and Castle Bromwich Police Force Twitter account @SmithswoodWMP at 10.38pm on Sunday evening, with the tweet: “#RTC | Let this photo be a reminder to be careful when driving Team attended an RTC in #Smithswood along with @OFFICIALWMAS and @WestMidsFire.
“Fortunately there were no serious injuries and everyone is fine!”
