BBC Antiques Roadshow fans tuned in this weekend to see an expert give a huge rating.
A guest on the show had a note from John Lennon worth £ 40,000, according to the show.
Expert Hilary Kay asked the guest: “We have what I can only describe, a sensational self-portrait of John Lennon and Yoko Ono under the sign ‘Peace’ and their signatures.

“It’s a sticking point – how have you been?”
He told her: “My parents both worked in television, and we believe this will begin in the early summer of 1969, shortly after the peace bed.
“After they got married, they flew to London to do a series of interviews and my father filmed the interviews – he was a cameraman in his 60s – and asked them to sign it just before they left the studio.
“They had their boomerang limo in the back and just before they went out my father gave the card to John …

“He signed it and passed it on to Yoko … and he got that back.
“We lost it until the late 1980s, it was misplaced and then we found it when we were clearing a closet.
“We framed it and it has been on the wall ever since.”
Hilary commented: “The attention for this is international and attracts people on a budget.
“So I would put the current value between £ 35,000 and £ 40,000 without any question.”
