Police in Camborne arrest two men in stolen car from West Midlands after car chase

Police have arrested two men after working with other forces to locate the suspects on the run from the West Midlands. The pursuit ended in Camborne today (May 12) and has resulted in the men being taken into custody for multiple offenses.

Tipped off by the West Midlands Police, Devon and Cornwall Police pursued the vehicle before catching them this afternoon. The men were in a stolen Fiesta ST.

The driver was also found to have taken drugs, failing a roadside drug testing kit. The car was also fitted with false number plates.

Talking about the men, a spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team posted on Twitter: “A pursuit with a stolen Fiesta ST running on false plates from the @WestMidsPolRBLX area in #Camborne today results in 2 in custody for many offenses.

“Driver was positive for drugs on a @DrugWipeGlobal. Hopefully soon to be on holiday at HMP.”
