Prince Charles laughs and walks away when asked about Harry and Meghan Markle’s Oprah interview

The Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, was asked if he had seen Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Charles was in northwest London on Tuesday – hours after the Oprah interview with Harry and Meghan Markle aired.

The interview aired on ITV1 and today Charles giggled when asked if he’d seen it.

Charles was interviewed by the media when he appeared publicly for the first time since the interview that aired on CBS in America on Sunday.

When Charles was leaving after a visit to a pop-up vaccination clinic in a London church, a reporter asked, “Sir, what did you think of the interview?” And after turning to see who called, he giggled and continued walking.

Boris Johnson saw the Duke and Duchess of Sussex interview that plunged the monarchy into crisis on allegations of racism, Downing Street said.

But No. 10 refused to make any further comments, including a refusal to distance the government from comments made by Minister Lord Goldsmith, who accused Harry of “blowing up his family”.

When asked if Mr Johnson saw the interview broadcast in the UK on Monday night, the Prime Minister’s official spokesman said: “He did, but you have what the Prime Minister said from last night’s press conference and I will not go into that further what he said. “

When asked if the minister was speaking for the government, the spokesman said: “I can only repeat what the Prime Minister said at the press conference last night. I will not add anything to his comments.
