The Jurassic Coast, which is a World Heritage Site along with the Great Barrier Reef, guarantees a spectacular day of hiking. Start at Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast (626 feet) with expansive views over Lyme Bay. It takes approximately three hours to negotiate coves and cliffs along this four and a half mile stretch of the South West Coast Path to reach the maze of narrow streets of Lyme Regis.
