This was the dramatic result of a bus fire that caused massive damage to a double-decker and saw passengers flee.
Firefighters were on duty at New Road, Willenhall when the 529 service from Walsall to Wolverhampton caught fire around 10 p.m. on Monday March 15.
Crews from Willenhall and Faillings Park put out the flames that started on the upper deck with Hosereel jets and breathing apparatus.

An eyewitness told BlackCountryLive that passengers on board managed to escape the flames, causing around 80 percent damage to the vehicle.
A video of the scene also showed flames shooting out of public transport lighting the street as firefighters fought the fire.
The West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service confirmed no one was injured.
They said, “We received a call at 10:05 pm to report a double-decker bus fire on New Road in Willenhall.
“We sent a crew from Willenhall and Fallings Park to the scene.
“The incident caused a fire on the upper deck and was 80 percent damaged.
“Two hose reel nozzles and two firefighters with breathing apparatus were used. Everyone on the bus was switched off before our arrival and no one was injured.”
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and it is unknown whether it was started on purpose – but West Midlands Police were also on the scene.
